This
unique training aid is fairly simple. It is a hardwood
ball, 50mm in diameter. The wood is amazingly durable
and can be used on all but the roughest surfaces. For
the best durability, use the SnabBoll Swedish Stickhandling
Ball on wood, tile, smooth concrete, or even carpeted
surfaces.
The
ball gives that solid "clack" while stickhandling;
thus, enabling you to keep your eyes up while developing
better peripheral vision. The weight of the ball -- while
not as heavy as a puck -- is still hefty enough for good
feel. Because it is a ball, rather than some form of outdoor
puck, you get the super quick, snappy movement found when
using a real puck on ice. And, because it is small, relative
to other balls, you can keep your stick low (not unlike
stickhandling with a real puck).
Think
of the SnabBoll Swedish Stickhandling Ball as the "speed
bag" of stickhandling training. Getting your hands
moving at amazing speeds can be only a few weeks away.
Workout with the SnabBoll at home as well as at the rink
-- before every game or practice.
